Due to the lack of community spaces in our area and with the loss of the old community room in the Shopping centre, Citywest Community Council reached out to management in Citywest Shopping Centre to see if they were in a position to provide a new community space.

After a few meetings and a number of months of renovations taking place, we are now delighted to advise that Citywest Shopping Centre have provided a room beside the medical centre for use by the community. They have furnished the new Community room for a variety of settings with sofas, chairs and tables for meetings and gatherings. This will be a huge benefit to resident groups in the community. The Garda Clinic will also take place in this room each month.
