I was delighted to attend the official sod turning for the upgrade to Carrigmore Park last week, along with Nickola Boyle from Citywest Community Council. Mayor Baby Pereppadan officiated the ceremony with members of Public Realm, South Dublin County Council also in attendance

The upgrade works will include a new teen-space beside the basketball courts, upgrade to the playground area, a boules court, a bike pump track, new planting and trees as well as upgrade works to the entrances.

We have also been in discussions with Public Realm Dept. of South Dublin County Council to introduce a mini woodland area in conjunction with the community.

Works have commenced in the park and we cannot wait to see the upgrade complete in the months ahead.
